I’m so excited to write this post and share with you a story, that I hope it will inspire you. I’m now preparing for the Raw Foods for Beginners Class at Raw Press tonight, but last week I spent 5 days at Tony Robbins’ Unleash the Power Within event, as a crew member – the place where in 2012 my health transformation started. It was amazing to look back at what triggered the change in me then and got me on the food and health path.
Today I want to share with you a story and one lesson I got from the whole event that I hope it will inspire you and convey the message.
Here I was 3 years after, in the same room remembering sitting there and taking up the challenge on eating healthy and alkaline for at least year, certain that this is what I needed to do. I never looked back! It did become my second nature! *see what I did there?* Who knows where this will take me in 3 years from now. If it’s at least as good as how it’s been so far I’m so ready to find out and share it with you along the way. How about you?
Where do you see yourself in 3 years time? What will you do? What will you look like? How are you going to feel? It all starts with an image of what you want and the passion and reasons for which you want to go for it. The most important part is to keep going!!! I’ve learnt that lesson on a bed of hot coals last week!!! That’s gonna be embedded in my memory!
During the event you get to walk on fire and every year I set an intention for the walk. I had my intention and I started walking and when I was half way through on HOT coals a doubt sneaked in! And for the first time (this was my 5th firewalk) I felt a tiny burn. At the worst possible time! Middle of the burning coals! How often don’t we get that in life? Here we are doing our thing, and our mind tries to sabotage us? I dealt with that voice inside my head: “you can’t be doing this to me now!!! Let’s GO! GO, GO, GO!” I didn’t rush it, I owned it and continued walking without feeling a thing.
My walk’s meaning was focused on my growth to be able to serve more people through the work I do. And I realised that even if doubt appears half way through, or fears, worries – challenges – as long as we keep our heads up, believe we’ll get on the other side and continue walking we’ll get there. And that is a precious lesson to take an apply in any area of our lives, because there will always be doubts, there will always be fears – but you can dance with your fears.
If you can’t be fearless, always be courageous.
I hope to see you soon at any of the upcoming events. I’m at the London Yes Group tomorrow and on Thursday speaking at London Thought Leaders Live in a debate with some of London’s leading experts in the field of Personal Development. And soon I’ll be coming to Germany for a class, followed by Romania and the Retreat! Keep an eye on the events and see you soon!
Until next time, be courageous!
Much love,
Denisa
