Inner child jumps around on green smoothie

I have been going mental for the past week over the trampoline my neighbours just got and invited me to use whenever I wish. Awesome, right?

To put it into perspective rebounding, or jumping on the trampoline is a great way to put your lymph system into movement and remove the dead cells from your body. It’s also fantastic to reconnect with your inner child 🙂 I always go crazy when I’m on one of them! That’s the most amazing thing: it makes you feel good straight away putting you into a peak state.

That’s why I try, even if the weather is a bit wet, to get out first thing in the morning for 2-5 minutes and wake up jumping. It works wonders!

There’s also a crazy video going around: welcome to the jungle.

Take a look. Well what I wanted ever since I’ve seen it was to try it 🙂 so I looked for a class in London and took this passion junkie with me there.

We had a laugh and jumped around on catchy music for 45 min. All cool with me! It reminded me of some Zumba steps but nothing too complicated. Just jumping up and down sides scissors.

The rest of the class wasn’t very vocal, but I left my woo girl out and enjoyed it to the fullest.
I probably expected more, not what I already do at home in the garden, but it was nice to share the experience with a friend.

Had some leftover green smoothie from before and thoroughly enjoyed it. The turmeric overdose was definitely strong! But received with pleasure.

It had:
– 1 handful parsley
– 2 celery stalks
– 1 banana
– 2 long turmeric roots( if you’re not used to the taste start with a small root)

I must say that I haven’t done proper exercising in a long time and was expecting to drop dead, but I was super good. Probably the intensity wasn’t so high as I expected and fuelling myself with green smoothies did the trick.

On the way home I stopped at a veg shop with the idea of getting some banana cause I got quite hungry. In exchange I found in the reduced section a box with 4 mangoes, 3 pears and one orange for £1. Sold to me!

I am ever so thankful for getting a Swiss knife on my birthday last year and being able to have the best snacks on the go. 3 mangoes were happy to reach my tummy 🙂

Conclusions: try something new all the time and make the most out of it while there 🙂

It’s great to have fun while sweating a bit.
Fuel yourself with the right nutrition. If you can make a smoothie before and save some for afterwards too. It will speed up the recovery time and minimise the tear effects in your muscles.

If you get hungry on the way home, grab a banana or any other fruit you find. It’s much easier to convert and assimilate for your body.

So, have you tried jumping/rebounding exercising?
