1. They are EASY to make!
You can get a Green Smoothie done in as little as 60 seconds! Probably faster than making a cup of coffee. You can’t beat that.
2. Assisting Weight Loss.
By increasing your intake of chlorophyll rich greens in your smoothies you alkalise your body and facilitate burning fat from the places where excessive weight is stored. They are also filling so you don’t feel the need to overeat. Don’t worry if you don’t want to lose weight – simply add one to your current diet and you will feel the difference in energy levels.
3. They are very nutritious.
You would have to spend a lot of time chewing kale or spinach to acquire the same quantities of nutrients as you do from making a smoothie. Also the addition of fresh fruit not only makes it more palatable, but it increases the intake of vitamins and minerals that can be absorbed in liquid form.
4. They are a complete food.
As opposed to juices, green smoothies still have the fiber. This is o particular importance for the elimination system. If you’re having, let’s say, difficulties ‘going’, green smoothies can fix that issue for you.

By having more nutrient rich, whole foods in their liquid form you are more likely to absorb those nutrients. This will repair your body’s storage levels and make you crave less junk foods, since the vitamins and minerals levels are more likely to be refilled. As long as you get green leaves and fruit in the 40-60% ratio at the beginning, you can make whatever mixes you prefer. This will help your body in the processes of detoxification. Forget about the coffee effects, this will get everything moving from morning due to the fiber content. Because the plant’s cells are broken down you absorb the smoothies from the mouth. You spend less energy digesting, thus having more energy for the important things in life.

Whatever the health benefits of it, chocolate is always a great excuse to have! Be careful though, it does contain caffeine, and too much may keep you awake when not needed.
