Breakfast – Green Smoothie Yougurt Bowl Recipe

Mornings can be daunting when you don’t know what to prepare. But they can also become incredibly creative with a little bit of preparation. 

I made a habit of starting my day with liquids and I try to keep it as much as possible, even though sometimes when travelling that doesn’t work or there are purely days when you feel like you need solid foods. 

After a glass of lemon water or a glass of superfood greens, Green Smoothies are almost always my preferred choice to keep me lasting till noon at least. And for those mornings when I want to feel like eating, I make a smoothie bowl, which becomes my blank canvas for painting it with creations and mixed ingredients.

Green Smoothie Bowl with Coconut Yougurt

1. Green Smoothie Recipe

  • 2 handfuls greens

  • 1 banana

  • 1 apple

  • 1 slice lemon

  • 1 spoon flax seed

  • 1 cup water

    • blend together

2. Yogurt Recipe

 

  • 100 g Coconut flakes
  • 1/2 Cup Water
  • 2 dates
  • 2 probiotic capsules
    • Blend all ingredients together until you reach a very smooth, creamy and thick consistency. Add the probiotic powder from the capsules in it and let it outside at room temperature if you want to ferment it over night or serve straight away in the smoothie bowl. Decorate with cacao nibs, goji berries, rose petals and cinnamon, and other seeds you want to use.
    • Chop some seasonal fruit and add on top as well.
