It’s DAY 3 of the 10-Day Bloom Launch Giveaway and today we’re going to pop a bubble! A different type of bubbly. Let me introduce you to…Kombucha! It’s been a few years since I’ve first had kombucha and it’s been a favourite of mine ever since. If you’ve never come across it, Kombucha is a fermented green or black tea, with a sweet-sour taste, in between cider and vinegar. It’s fizzy and has a refreshing effect. It’s been made for centuries in Asia, and now it’s taking over the West as a favourite refreshment and alcohol alternative. If you’re into making your on stuff and like a project, I encourage you to look up how to make it and give it a go. By being fermented and unpasteurised, kombucha has a beneficial effect on your gut flora, promoting a healthy, balanced colony. Plus, if it helps you replace a couple of glasses of wine in the evening, it’s even better!

I must say when I first tried JARR Kombucha I loved it even more. The quality is superior to any other kombuchas I’ve had before and it shows. JARR Kombucha

The Original Kombucha is made with organic and biodynamic loose leaf tea directly from the source, organic cane sugar from Brazil, filtered water and a SCOBY (Symbiotic Culture of Bacteria and Yeast). These ingredients are left to ferment in a warm environment for a period of time, where the SCOBY feeds on sugar to grow, leaving you with a delicious, refreshing and nutrient-dense drink. For a chance to win, let’s get creatively playful: Go to the Second Nature Facebook or Instagram page and like the page, if you haven’t done so already. Find today’s image (the one below), like the image and imagine Kombucha wasn’t called Kombucha, and you have to come up with a new name to describe this fizzy, sweet-sour tasting healthy drink. Leave a comment with the name you’ve come up with –  it can be anything and any word play! 

I can’t wait to read your creations. At the end of the day, I’ll pick the 2 most creative names. Remember the Kombucha is London only, but you’ll still be entered for the Bloom draw.
